Our founder and all of our staff members are native Mandarin speakers with excellent writing skills. Learning extends beyond the classroom, our school provides after hour help over the phone and email with no extra charge.

Advisor:

 

Y. Zhong Zielonka received her Master of Arts in Bilingual/Bicultural at Teachers College, Columbia University, New York. She is currently teaching Mandarin and Cantonese in the U.S. Ms. Zielonka earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Education (TEFL) from School of Foreign Studies, South China Normal University, Guangdong, China. She received an award of excellence as a head teacher at No. 3 High School in Foshan City, Guangdong, China.

 

China Advisors:

 

Mr. Liu is a very popular head teacher from Shì Gǔ Gàn, China. He has won a lot of awards during his teaching career. We will only list a few here. He won a few first prizes in country, province and town thesis competitions. He also won the Best Lecture and Best Head Teacher awards. Mr. Liu is fluent in both Mandarin and English. He is currently teaching bilingual in China. He represents his province as a lecture in China/US Exchange Studies Program.

 

Ms. An is a teacher from Shěn Yáng Shì, Liáo Níng Shěng, China. She is a high level teacher. She has earned a lot of teachers awards during her teaching career. We will only list a few here. Ms. An won a few first prizes in country, province and town thesis competitions. She was chosen as the Best Teacher in a country, province and town levels.

 

Teachers:

 

Ms. Tang graduated from Hangzhou Teacher College China in 1989 with high honor. She has over 19 years of experience teaching Mandarin to children and adults. She taught in Hangzhou Zha Nong Kou Middle School from 1989 to 1996 and received numerous awards for teaching excellence. She moved to the US with her family twelve years ago and started teaching Mandarin to children ever since. Prior to joining Mandarin Together, Fun, Ms. Tang taught in a Chinese school in New Jersey where she received her teaching certification and was voted the Most Outstanding Teacher. Ms. Tang is married with a fourteen year old son.

 

Ms. Li graduated from Department of Education, Shenyang Normal University, Shenyang, China with a degree in Applied Psychology. She taught children in China for four years before moving to the US. Ms. Li enjoys working with children. Ms. Li was a recipient of many scholarships during her academic career. She is also a talented singer.

 

Ms. Tao holds an MBA degree. She has over 3 years of experience teaching Mandarin to children. Ms. Tao has children of her own and enjoys working with kids. She is very sweet and friendly. She is very knowledgeable with Chinese culture. Ms. Tao is married with a eighteen year old son.

 

Miss. Liu has three years of experience teaching children. She began her piano lesson at the age of eight. Musically inclined, Ms. Liu passed the challenging Grade Four at the age nine and completed her piano diploma at the age of ten. She also plays 21 strings very well. She is also well-versed in Chinese arts and crafts. Ms. Liu is married with a seventeen year old son.

 

Administration:

 

Grace Chiung Tan is the founder and director of Mandarin Together, Fun LLC. She believes learning languages should be fun. Growing up in a multilingual environment , Grace is fluent in more than six languages and Chinese dialects. With MTF, Grace and her team strive to create a conducive environment inside and outside the classroom by having children and their families learn Mandarin together. Grace received many awards in Mandarin storytelling, speeches and debates throughout her academic career. She has a three-year old son.

 

Artist:

 

T Chan is a renowned artist in Asia. His work has adorned many books. He is also an art teacher.
